At Fresh Tri, we are on a mission to revolutionize behavior change and empower individuals to achieve sustainable weight loss and positive well-being. On January 21, 2020, we proudly announced the release of Version 2 of our Fresh Tri behavior change software, co-developed with Walmart. This exciting collaboration brings forth a unique mindset training approach to achieve lasting weight loss and foster overall health and happiness. In this blog, we will discuss the features of Version 2, the results of a recent study, and the compassionate and effective approach that sets Fresh Tri apart.
The Power of Fresh Tri Version 2
“We were looking for a powerful alternative to conventional behavior-change approaches such as goal-setting, behavior-tracking and incentives, which have proven fleeting or ineffective for many people,” said David Hoke, Walmart’s Senior Director of Associate Health and Well-being. Fresh Tri’s Version 2 behavior change software is a cutting-edge app that offers users a unique mindset to achieve sustainable weight loss. Drawing on the success of a study conducted with Walmart associates, the app combines habit-formation techniques with mindset training to create a powerful alternative to conventional behavior-change approaches. This holistic and compassionate approach provides a fresh perspective on achieving lasting results.
Interactive Group Mindset Trainings
In Version 2, Fresh Tri introduces live-streamed group mindset trainings, led by clinicians. These experts provide science-based insights and inspiration, guiding users on their journey to adopt a positive mindset. This interactive approach ensures that users receive personalized support and motivation as they learn and practice the mindset that underpins sustainable behavior change.
Results of Fresh Tri Study
A study conducted by Fresh Tri demonstrated the effectiveness of the app in combination with mindset training. Participants experienced statistically significant weight loss, with an average of 7.2 pounds lost over 60 days. The study also revealed significant improvements in positive psychology metrics, including mindset, self-efficacy, and resilience, all of which are vital for overall health and well-being. Additionally, the study achieved statistically significant habit formation, as measured by the Self-Report Habit Index (SRHI), a validated instrument.
Fresh Tri and Walmart’s Commitment to Well-Being
The collaboration with Walmart reflects our shared commitment to promoting well-being among employees and members. Fresh Tri’s subscription-based model allows employers and healthcare organizations to offer the app and interactive live-streamed group mindset trainings to their members, facilitating a positive impact on the health and happiness of their workforce.
“Not only did Fresh Tri drive weight loss and habit formation, but it did so in a compassionate way that saves time, creates ease, and avoids negative emotions like guilt and shame,” said Fresh Tri president and CEO, Dr. Kyra Bobinet.
