Additionally, you are passionate about and have experience marketing in the health and wellness space, preferably for digital health products. You want to see others do better, live better. You want our current and potential users, prospective customers and thought leaders to know our name and brand and to trust it as a B2B and D2B2C partner.

We are looking for an experienced and highly creative person to join our high performing team as Vice President (VP) of Marketing to direct and oversee our Marketing department. You can flex to the demands of a B2B and B2B2C marketing ecosystem using and leveraging a strategic budget and team of internal staff and outside consultants. You will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that launch us into the awareness and positive perception of employers, payers, and the health industry at large – especially B2B buyers who see our B2C marketing strength as a vote of confidence.  You are also skilled at communication with and nurturing of current users and those that need to be reengaged.

You are agile with and not intimidated by AI and equally not mesmerized by it.  You know how to use AI to strengthen ads, communication and social media activity, while our audiences still know and feel that they are connecting with a real human with a real heart.

You bring a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns, digital marketing techniques, B2B placements in conferences (booths) and industry channels, and multi-channel communication to existing users and stakeholders. Our VP of Marketing will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will oversee internal and external Marketing teams. To be successful in this role, you should be a strong and honest communicator. You should also contribute significantly in shaping the company’s strategic planning and contributing to our long-term success.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness in both B2B2C and B2B channels
  • Co-lead the effort, with the Director of our Institute for Iterative Thinking, to spread our message of iteration and the Iterative Mindset and solidifying Fresh Tri as the go-to-expert for these approaches
  • Knit together the different brand voices (the Fresh Tri software, the Institute, and public presence of our CEO)
  • Strategize, lead and execute on communications plan for current and inactive app users
  • Set current and long-term metrics for internal teams
  • Design and review the Marketing department’s budget and measure ROI
  • Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
  • Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve upon them regularly
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the C-suite
  • Advocate for Marketing department’s seat at the table and voice across company activities
  • Conduct market research and analyses to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives
  • Track competitors’ activities

Desired Background And Experience

  • 10+ years of total experience in the marketing field
  • 2-3+ years experience as a VP or Director of Marketing, or other senior role leading a marketing team in the healthcare industry, preferably in digital health
  • Experience marketing and promoting digital products
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns across DTC, B2B and B2B2C spaces
  • Experience handling and aligning campaigns for multiple brands within one entity
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Strong leadership skills with a priority for personal development  
  • Exceptional communications skills and self-awareness
  • Openness and proven track record of iterating in response to changing landscapes and challenges
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and is based on a number of factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base pay for this position ranges from $150,000/year, up to $190,000/year, plus benefits, bonus, and equity.
