About the Role

We’re looking for a Head of Commercial — a builder who thrives in cutting-edge innovation, comfortable with ambiguity and excited to own both sales and marketing execution. This role will lead GTM activities end-to-end, focusing on generating and closing revenue while laying the groundwork for scalable growth. Namely, we seek to target two markets: 1) risk-holders in healthcare (payers, ACOs, employers) and 2) emerging markets of alternative and influencer clinicians. 
 
You’ll report directly to the CEO and work collaboratively with Product, Clinical, and Operations functions as needed. This is a hands-on role today, working with and building off of the work of our internal marketing team and includes  a clear path to building a team as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation & Sales
  • Convert inbound leads, broker referrals, and strategic intros into qualified opportunities
  • Run discovery, top of funnel through qualification, proposal development, and drive deals to close
  • Build CRM discipline, forecasting, and reporting frameworks
Marketing & Brand Execution
  • Coordinate basic brand, content, and demand gen initiatives
  • Work with marketing team to support content needs
  • Align commercial messaging across web, collateral, events, and campaigns

GTM Strategy & Insights

  • Refine ICP, verticals, pricing models, and buyer personas
  • Test and optimize sales motions across brokers, employers, and partners
  • Feed insights back into product and implementation

Ideal Candidate

  • 7–12 years experience across B2B sales, BD, marketing, or commercial strategy
  • Bonus: Experience in health tech, employer benefits, behavior change, or channel sales
  • Mission-driven and mission-aligned
  • Strong storytelling, listening, and consultative selling skills
  • Systems thinker who can build process without getting bogged down
  • Gritty, proactive, and energized by innovation, ambiguity and experimentation
  • Values science, mission, and long-term impact over transactional wins

We offer a highly competitive compensation structure, combining a solid base salary with significant upside for achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets. The base pay for this position ranges from $150,000/year, up to $200,000/year, with up to 2x On-Target Earnings, plus a generous equity package.  Fresh Tri’s benefits include remote working, health/dental/vision, 401K, quarterly self-care days and other standard benefits.  Final compensation offered reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and is based on a number of factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
